Envoy Gateway is an open source project for managing Envoy Proxy as a standalone or Kubernetes-based application gateway. Gateway API resources are used to dynamically provision and configure the managed Envoy Proxies.

Prerequisites#

Deploy k0rdent v1.0.0: QuickStart

Install template to k0rdent#

helm upgrade --install envoy-gateway oci://ghcr.io/k0rdent/catalog/charts/kgst --set "chart=envoy-gateway:1.5.9" -n kcm-system

Verify service template#

kubectl get servicetemplates -A
# NAMESPACE    NAME                            VALID
# kcm-system   envoy-gateway-1-5-9             true

Deploy service template#
